Shanghai, March 2020-Recently, Seco Tools launched a new QC modular arbor, which will help manufacturers significantly improve the machining efficiency on the core machine. The system allows the user to quickly and easily index the blades and change tools outside the machine. In addition, the QC tool bar also uses Seco Jetstream Tooling® and Jetstream Tooling® Duo dual fly-flow technologies to achieve optimal chip control, high-quality surface finish and longer tool life.
For ease of use, the Seco QC modular shank allows users to quickly disassemble, index, and replace the cutter head and blade as one component. In addition, manufacturers can also replace the cutter head and blade combination to obtain higher efficiency. The QC cutter head also uses a carbide pin slot design to achieve accurate, consistent and safe blade installation and indexing.
Seco Jetstream Tooling® technology can accurately guide high-pressure coolant to the cutting area through QC tool bar. Seco JetstreamTooling® Duo has a variety of cutter heads and a second coolant outlet is added to the flank face. The second coolant outlet can be closed when necessary to apply to a wider range of processing.
The new QC toolholders include tool heads for general-purpose ISO turning, MDT, threading and cutting, and the toolholders are available in the following sizes: 1010mm, 1212 mm and 1616 mm (metric sizes) and 0375 inches, 050 inches and 0635 Inch (inch size).
